3rd-level Oath of the Last Dawn feature
Paladins who swear the Oath of the Last Dawn believe that the world is ending—and that's okay. They don't fight to save the world, but to ensure that what remains endures with dignity. They protect the desperate, give hope to the hopeless, and make sure that when the final darkness comes, humanity faces it standing tall. They are compassionate warriors who have accepted apocalypse but refuse to accept defeat.
Tenets of the Last Dawn
- Cherish What Remains: Every life, every moment of beauty, every act of kindness matters. Protect them fiercely.
- Face the End with Grace: Do not rage against the dying of the light. Meet it calmly, with courage and compassion.
- Be the Light: In darkness, you are the dawn. Your hope sustains others even when your own hope fails.
- Let Go: Not all things can be saved. Learn when to fight and when to mourn.

Channel Divinity: Dawn's Mercy
At 3rd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to grant merciful rest. As an action, you touch a creature and end one condition affecting it (blinded, deafened, paralyzed, poisoned, or stunned). If the creature is at 0 hit points, it is stabilized.
Alternatively, you can touch a creature that has died within the last minute and grant it a peaceful death—its spirit departs calmly, free from any corruption or binding magic.
Channel Divinity: Final Stand
At 3rd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to inspire a desperate last defense. As a bonus action, choose up to five creatures within 30 feet of you that can see or hear you. Each creature gains temporary hit points equal to your paladin level + your Charisma modifier and has advantage on the next attack roll or saving throw it makes within the next minute.
Aura of the Final Light
At 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you cannot be frightened and have advantage on death saving throws.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Undying Hope
At 15th level, your refusal to give up inspires those around you. When a creature within 30 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to restore it to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this feature on a creature, you can't use it on that creature again until you both finish a long rest.
Additionally, when you finish a short rest, you and allies within 30 feet of you regain hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + half your paladin level (rounded down).
Champion of the Last Dawn
At 20th level, you can embrace your role as humanity's final guardian. As an action, you undergo a transformation that lasts for 1 minute. While transformed:
- You emit bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.
- You and allies within the bright light have resistance to all damage.
- When you or an ally within the bright light is hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 2d10 + your Charisma modifier.
- You can use your Lay on Hands pool without limit while transformed.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
