The Writhing Dark (Ky'thara the Manifold)

The Writhing Dark (Ky'thara the Manifold)

The Thousand-Limbed, Mother of Aberrations, That Which Breeds

Nature: The Writhing Dark is fecundity gone mad—endless reproduction, mutation, and transformation. It is the source of many aberrations that slip through the Veil, birthing horrors constantly. It represents change, evolution pushed beyond sanity.

Appearance: A mass of writhing appendages, tentacles, eyes, mouths—all constantly shifting, dividing, recombining. Every piece is alive and independent yet part of a vast whole.

Cleric Domains: Life (corrupted), Nature (twisted), Twilight
Philosophy: Change is life. Stagnation is death. Evolve constantly. Embrace mutation. Become something new.

Followers: Those seeking transformation, body-horror cultists, certain Grafted who see it as apotheosis through mutation rather than machinery
Symbols: Tentacles, eyes, spiraling double helices, mitosis diagrams
Rituals: Controlled mutations, breeding of aberrations, self-transformation ceremonies

Personality (for Warlocks): The Writhing Dark is almost maternal, encouraging growth and change. But its idea of "growth" is horrifying. Warlocks receive visions of what they could become—and often start changing involuntarily.
